Create workflow when solution is added into the case

Hi Experts,
How to send the email alert by using the workflow when adding the solution into the case.

this might work.

create your email template with the information you want from the solution 

create a field in solutions that is text formula field that links through to Case.Subject

then create a workflow on solutions as you would any other object - you could set it to send only when the field above changes (priorvalue).

never tried it but that makes sense to me.

Hi Daniel,

I have created case subject formula field in the solution object and set the formula Case.Subject. But the parent case subject not updated. If I put some text, it will update.
