Have the user update only the Start date for which the error seems to be coming..

Is there a chance that a recurring event for this group has been changed and its trying to sync with salesforce thru the plugin?

Yes, the user has a few recurring tasks & events.

Could you please check if the user has modified any of the instances of a recurring meeting. if yes, ask user to undo the changes and try to sync.
LerzLerz
Yes, the users modified the recurring meetings on Outlook side.

When you say undo changes, you mean undo all changes or only Start Date?

If we delete the recurring events/tasks in outlook, will the SF recurring tasks be deleted too upon synch?

The reason I asked is because the user have modified a lot of the events from outlook side.  I was wondering if we can cleanup from Outlook but we want to make sure the events don't get deleted in SF when we synch.

Our conflict resolution setting is set to "Salesforce always wins".

I cannot test this last post because I have a new issue with the Side panel is now missing.

Lerz,

What is the sync direction?
If it is both ways or Oulook to Salesforce, it will delete from Salesforce and I would not suggest you to go with the option of deletion.

The best way will be to open a case with our support team so they can have a quick GTM to understtand the situation, SFO settings better and to suggest the best possible resolution.

Synch Direction is:

Contact - one way going to Outlook
Task - one way going to Outlook
Events - Two-way

Thank you.  I will open a case.
