Can't Access APEX Data Loader

This seems to be a simple issue, but I am to just downloaded APEX data loader but am unable to use it.  It asks me to log on using my SFDC logon credentials, but then says its not valid.  I have verified the log on info I am using is correct.  What am I missing?

Are you adding your security token?

Specify the server host before you logging into data loader (settings->server host - login.salesforce.com or test.salesforce.com) and add the security token.
ex: passwordsecuritytoken (1234***********)
