Partner Object in Eclipse

Would like to write an afterupdate trigger against the Salesforce "Partner" object.  It is not availble to pick in the Eclipse IDE.  Is this some type of setting in Eclipse that I missed?

there's no special setting required that i m aware of (other than the View All Data permission)..
I just checked in developer console and i can see the Partner Object when creating a new trigger...

can you check using Developer Console to see if you can find Partner when creating new trigger ?

Just went to write a partner trigger on the developer console.  It will not allow it.
