Can we change data type of an custom object standard field.

Hi All,

I have created custom application that which contain a standard Field, where i needed to change the data type of the field to date, so is it possible to change the data type of the standard field.

As you are saying it is a std field , you can't change that.. You can simply use all the Standard components but not change/delete.

you can change either autonumber/text for standard name field .
