You need to raise a case with Salesforce to get them to activate the Edit Audit Fields feature - this allows you to write to fields like the LastModifiedDate and CreatedDate when you are inserting/updating records.

HI,

You can raise support case to salesforce enableing 'audit fields'
When you enable audit field you can edit createddate, createdby, lastmodifieddate, lastmodifiedbyId field with the leagacy date i.e. past dates.

This way you can retain value for lastmodifieddate to the value you want to.
For more information you might want to go through : https://www.salesforce.com/us/developer/docs/api/Content/system_fields.htm

Thanks,
