How to disable delete permission from Task

Hi Team,

I want to disable delete option from task. please assist on this.

If you are a admin you can disable delete persmission through profile settings or owd by going to particular object

If you want to remove delete action from task for specific profile you can do same through profile settings as Nagarjuna mentioned. If you want to remove Delete button from task layout for all profiles you can remove it from "Setup->Task->Task Layout" and remove Delete button from layout.

Deleting Tasks seems to only be covered by a system permission called "Edit tasks - Create, edit, and delete tasks." but there isn't a separate Delete Task permission that can be removed or muted, neither have aI found a way to do that on Profile. Any further tips? Thank you!

I agree with @anja. There is no such path to remove or mute it from Profiles. @nagarjuna, @dev, did you both verify this before posting an answer here?
