Mass update accounts with Territories

Hi All

I just wondering if there is any way using which I can mass update accounts into territories.

I can see that I can add it manually but can I also do the same with Data Loader? Please suggest.

Hi there,
So long as territory is a field in the acount then you will be able to mass update the field.

If you dont want to use the dataloader I would suggest this as an alternative.
If you have experience with the dataloader, I would suggest going that route and just pulling the ID's for the accounts that need to be changed.

Is Territory Management is enabled for your org? If it is enabled then you might consider running TM Assignment rules which assigns the Account to territory based on custom defined criteria.
