App only works when developer console is open

This app previously worked just fine but now in winter '14 it only works if the dev console is open. I tried removing all system.debug statements and that did not fix the issue. Anyone know how to fix this?

Can you please explain a little bit more. Which app you are talking about? Aren't you talking about developer mode?

Not in developer mode. The app worked fine for almost 2 years but now in Winter '14 it all of a sudden doesn't work unless I have the developer console window open when I use it. Basically when the page loads it should have a select list full of options but it is blank when the dev console isn't open. I then open the dev console and try again and it works all of a sudden.
