Do we need to have a company to develop managed app for listing in salesforce.com app exchange ?
In order to have an application listed on the AppExchange with Salesforce to receive money you would need to have the application security reviewed and an agreement signed with Salesforce regarding distribution of the application. If you release the app as free then you will not need a company otherwise you will need to sign an ISV agreement with Salesforce as a legal entity to allow the application to be distributed.
