Cancel Button on the clone controller not working

Hi I built a custom controller on a Opportunity object. Everything is working fine, except when I cancel the cloning operation by clickign the Cancel Button it still creates a clone opportunity. Anyone has idea as to how to fix it?

Modify execute behaviour of your cancel button and make it to close the current window or the redirect it to the parent. It may be possible that it have same execution behaviour which your save button have.

Since it is a custom clone controller I am using the sfdc standrad clone function, I did not build cancel or save button myself but usign the one that comes with clone function in salesfroce.
