Different avatars for same user in salesforce.com and salesforce community

Hi,

We have a requirement for showing two different profile images for the same user inside Salesforce.com  and salesforce community. Any insight how to achieve this?

It is not possible using standard options as there will only be one userimage reference in all the connected sites. However, you may try using richtext field as an alternate image source and display it on your community.
