Steve Harrison How to create Contact Roles for Orders?
I would like to relate multiple Contacts to an Order and multiple Orders to a Contact much like the way this is done through Contact Roles within Opportunities. This is not possible with standard SF functionality, but Support recommended pursuing a custom APEX coding option. Has anyone else tried to do this or have a solution?
The Contact Role related list is availanble on Account, opportunity,contract & case.
You can create the cusom object (to store contact, role) and create a relationship between Orders and custom object.
Custom object will have lookup field on contact, a custom picklist field to store the roles etc.
