Our Theater Company wants to run an online raffle. Is there a way of doing this on our existing Sales Force ticket site?
I am a board member of the company and we are trying to raise funds.
It seems that a simple GA event should be able to generate a sequencial number that could be used for a "raffle " ticket.
Does anyone have any experience with this, or know of a way that we can set this up?
Thank you
Deb

Deb, is this a one-off type of event or are you going to be doing this often? When do you need to generate the raffle tickets? What type of information do you want to store in Salesforce for this? There are several ways of doing auto-number, but not sure what to recommend until digging into your needs. Also, are you using any other packages in your org?
Best,
Jason
Salesforce is a powerful platform with a huge range of features that can be customized for lots of additional applications, it looks like your version of Salesforce is running an additional program called PatronManager (I could be wrong about that). But since the platform can do almost anything it can take some thought to adapt it for new requirements. Again, if the raffle is going to be a reoccuring event you should take to your Salesforce consultant and they can probably create a nice integrated solution for you.
BTW, your theater looks really cool, if I'm ever in Portland I'll be sure to check it out.
Best,
Jason
Taproot is another organization that helps find pro-bono people for non-profits: http://www.taprootfoundation.org/about-probono/global-pro-bono
And as a non-profit you have access to the Salesforce Power of Us community--lots of great people there to help with non-profit issues.

Who might want to try too. By the way, for beginners this option is great! The games are simple and interesting.
Hi Deb, using a GA event to generate sequential numbers for a raffle ticket is a creative idea. However, GA (Google Analytics) is primarily designed for tracking website interactions. For raffle ticket generation, you might need a dedicated tool or script that can handle sequential numbering and ticket distribution. There are various event management or ticketing platforms that could help achieve this efficiently. Good luck with your fundraising efforts! https://lottoresult.com.ng/baba-ijebu-results-today/
