Find a field that is used across multiple objects

Customer is trying to rationalize all the fields with in their prod ORG. Is there a qucik and dirty way to see, where a field is used across all objects with in the ORG? thank you

Hi VishrRam,

Intersesting question but I don't think there is any straight forward way to identify whre a field is used across all objects.
A way is there but manual whwre you can click on delete and it will show it's dependancy but not recomended.

Or the other way is use Force.com IDE to download the metadata on your PC and then do a search on the API name of the field in the folder.
