Files & Content Association With Objects on Mobile

Hi,

I would like to know how we can make files & content related to custom object available on the iPad and what causes them to pop up? I havent been able to understand how we can make these avaialble and if they can be shown as attachemnts to object on the iPad. Any help with this can be really appreciated

Are you using the salesforce1 app or are designing an app? Is you are using Salesforce1, Notes and attachments for custom objects is available on the app and you can access the documents on the iPad..

We are using the salesforce1 app, but cannot access the notes and attachment of the custom object either. Is there something we need to configure?
