sObject type 'Account' is not supported-- What is this meaning

i am trying to fetch the records in query editor but it is showing bellow error, my profile is SystemAdministrator

This could be because you do not have the appropriate API permissions, or that a permission set has removed access to that sObject.

There is a checkbox 'Use tooling API' at the bottom of the screen. Uncheck it if it is checked and try.
Tooling API has its other objects like ApexCodeCoverage, ApexCodeCoverageAggregate, ApexExecutionOverlayAction etc.
