Cannot use Workbench with sandbox account

Hi,

When I log in to the Workbench selecting Sandbox as the Environment, as soon as I select an option from any menu, e.g. Jump to:SOQL Query, I get the following message:

An error has occurred and you have been logged out:
Your Saledforce session is invalid or has expired. Please login again.

But when I log in again I get the same results.

Would anyone know how I can resolve this?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

This happens when the following option is enabled in:
Security > Session Settings: "Lock sessions to the IP address from which they originated". This needs to be disabled to use workbench.

Here is the article:

Thanks,

Fantastic! Thanks for that Pratik.

For future ref the current location is:
Click on the delta menu next to your name and select Setup.
Then under Administration Setup menu > Security Controls > Session Settings
