how to quote a price of a product in salesforce?

Hi Suresh,

You add Products from Pricebook on opportunity as opportunity line item/opportunity product.
The pricebook has list price of product, you select the quantity and based quantity and unit price , total get calulated.

Quote:
On opportunity there is Reletaed list called "Quotes" whare you can create the quote. 
While creating the quote, you can edit the Sales price of the product and also the quantity (this will not affect the opportunity, it's only for that perticular quote).

If you want to reflect your quote value & quantity to opportunity, then there is "Sync" button which will sync the quote & ooportunity. At a time only one quote can be synched.
