Confused Created By ID and Owned By ID in chatter posts

Hi All,

  What is difference between chatter post created by id and owned by ID?

Which object do you see these two fields present? can you please share the link to the doc where these are mentioned to beling to the same object - will go through and update you.

In FeedItem object, actually i am creating a chatter post using apex class.

I checked through workbench but do not see the ownedby id field on feeditem object - it just has the createdbyID id which is the id of the user who creates the post
