Inbound Email Message - Click here to view HTML version has issues with

I have an issue where when you click on "Click here to view HTML version" on an Inbound Email Message in a Case some of the text will not display correctly and gets cut off because Salesforce treats certain special characters as HTML.

Example
files (where 0 <= i <= 6) 
turns to 
files (where 0

Hey Tad, sorry haven't heard anything back - let me followup on this - just to confirm - this only happens when you look at the email version right? the actual case description, I understand, does hold the correct info..
