Sync outlook to salesforce

I would like to be able to sync email to Salesforce.  I used to be able to do this, but now the icon is gone.  Can you help?

Check to make sure that the Outlook Add-in hasn't been disabled.  From Outlook go to the main menu File\Options\Add-Ins then 'Manage Com Add-Ins > Go' and make sure there is a check box selected for 'Salesforce for Outlook Add to Salesforce Toolbar'   If that doesn't work try uninstalling/reinstalling the Salesforce for Outlook client.

Add ins definitely get disabled from time to time. A real pain. If you're looking to edit Salesforce data in Outlook you can give ContactMonkey (http://www.contactmonkey.com/salesforce-for-outlook) a try. It brings Salesforce data to Outlook like Salesforce for Outlook, but it also allows you to edit that data, not just view it.
