To make the home page as the landing page for service cloud console

Actually , I am new to salesforce , I wanted the user to see the home page (https://ap1.salesforce.com/home/home.jsp) when he logs into his organization and chooses his service cloud console . Is this possible to be implemented from the salesforce standard functionality?

follow this steps >Name->My settings->Display & Layout->Customize my Tab-> here you can select which loading page you want whenever you login into salesforce and here you can select custom app also.
