External asp.net website authenticate Salesforce community users

In my dev org I setup the community portal and have usernames and passwords for some test customers.

Is there anyway to create a login form in my asp.net website to authenticate these community portal users?

We plan on setting up 50k customers for our community portal.

Thanks
Michael

It sounds like what you want is a custom Single Sign on setup / implementation. Good news: Salesforce has excelent support for a number of Single Sign on technologies.

Here's a link with more info, if you end up with specific questions, let me know!
