Partner Community Design

Hi,

We are trying to implement Partner community for a Client and want to understand the best possible design for implementing partner community.
Brief Requirement: The customer works with Dealers (around 25) to sell its products. These dealers have their own customers. Now the partner community can be used to work with the dealers but how this can be implemented? Shall we create 25 separate communities for each of these dealers OR in a single community this can be achieved?

Creating separate communities is not a great. I would suggest that you can provide one community across all the partner but with login functionality which will give separate user interface/functionality to the user base upon there type ( the type can be defined by creating a custom field on the user object ) . 

If you are looking for the design(UI) you can go for PKB package provided by salesforce.com on appexchange free of cost with lost of cool stuff to play with 

Plus thing is that you will get this mobile ready . Developer can modify the existing code to customize it.
