Custom Object permissions

Hi,

I've created a custom objects and I need that Standard Users can read it.
The solution is to clone Standard Users Profile and make a custom profile, but the custom object is inside managed packages and will be in appexchange in the future, so... how I can modify read permissions at object?

Thanks

Hi Juanpe,
You are right you would need to clone the profile ... but the best option is not to use a profile but a permission set ;)

You can create a permision set that will be provided with your package, therefore when the people install the package they can use the permission set with the corresponding users that will need to "Edit or read or ... "  the object that is also part of your package .

Hope this helps Juanpe.

Cheers,
Carolina.
