Workflow rule not getting deleted from the server

SonamSonam (Salesforce Developers) 
You have the option of deleting the Workflow rule in the ORG, I understand you must have done that..what makes you believe its still there on the server.Did you check of any other workflow rules or processes that might be  performing the task this deleted workflow was set to perform?
