Event Attendee Limit
We are having a bit of confusion with the Event Attendee Limits.
We read on here: http://www.salesforce.com/us/developer/docs/api/Content/sforce_api_objects_eventattendee.htm
and it said that we can only have 50 attendees to the event (50contacts with at most 1 lead)
But according to this post: https://developer.salesforce.com/forums/ForumsMain?id=906F00000008pwrIAA
There can be 1,000 invitees. i would like some clearification on the whole Invitee vs Who relations. because i thought an invitee can be a user, contact, or a lead, which is the same as who.

The current limit on number of attendee is 50. Please refer to the document that you mentioned:

The post has old number which has been changed.
Thanks,
