Is there a way to get rid of the Action column in a related list?

Can one just put that object into read only for a given user so that the Edit and Del links should not be there?

Hi Vinnie,

The only way to do it without custom code is by removing the Edit/Del permissions from that object for that user.

as Luis said it is the best way but there are situations where we have to hide the action column from all users even they have permissions although not a good practice what I do is hide the action column by usiing it's style class and hide it via javascript or CSS.
