Can't Enable Users in Forecast Hierarchy

  • I've checked allow forecasts in each user
  • I've checked manage quotas and override forecasts in the sales manager's profile
  • I've enabled forecast's on the forecast object
  • Created a forecast type
  • Enabled manager adjustments
  • Enabled cumulative forecast rollup and show quotas
But I can't enable users in the forecast hierarchy. When I go to enable a user, available users says none.

#2 worked...strangely...

Basically:
1. Make sure the User is setup for "Allow Forecasting"
    Enabling Users for Forecasts

2. If the affected Users are setup with "Allow Forecasting" but still cannot be added to the Forecast Hierarchy, try removing the affected User(s) from their assigned Role, Save, and then put them back in that Role.

I was able to solve this by submitting a case to SF. My org had upgraded to enterprise, and forecasting had not been enabled on the backend.
