How to map leads from marketo to salesforce?
Hi developers,
this is more of, how to map the existing lead in salesforce with a lead in marketo?
Is the mail, company, name(Fn and LN), what are the best practices?
Please tell me how native integration do this and also the best practices(genuine use case!)
Thanks

All Salesforce Leads and Contacts are considered “Leads” in Marketo. Salesforce Lead fields will automatically map over to Marketo Lead fields. However, you must manually map Salesforce Contact fields to corresponding Marketo Lead fields.
To map Marketo Lead fields to corresponding Salesforce Contact fields:
Navigate to Setup > App Setup > Customize > Leads > Fields.
Under Lead Custom Fields & Relationships, click Map Lead Fields. The Lead Custom Field
Mapping page displays.

I think I got that..but can you elaborate this example..
say there are leads called "John Doe" and "Jimmy paul", I want to sync John as lead and Jimmy as Contact into salesforce..
Is that possible?
and after some activities John is now become a contact, how can I make him as a contact in salesforce through sync?
you may take your own example and go on...
Thanks Naga.
that's my first question
