workflow rules dependency

Hi

I am trying to understand if there can be a dependency in workflow rules:?
I think in triggers we do have dependency.

Sonali - can you elborate the word dependency? What you are refering to dependency  exactly ? Are you asking about will workflow rule will trigger an another workflow action? If so answer is yes,based on the your workflow rule criteria. If you set your criteria as every time record is created and edited, then your workflow rule action going to fire

let me clear.

There are 2 workflow i.e wf_A & wf_B.
​when wf_A will execute only then wf_B​​ will execute. i.e wf_B depend on the successful execution of wf_A.

Is there a scenario:?

Update a dummy checkbox and check the checkbox re-evaluate the workflows in WF_A and put this checkbox value in Entry Criteria of WF_B so that if WF_A will execute than only WF_B will execute..
