What platform to use to develop web and mobile applications on Force.com?

I am currently unsure which technologies to use to develop responsive web and mobile applications.

Can some please  guide me in asessing what can be achieved and if i am not going to make things complicated with using the following technologies please.

• Jquery
• AngularJS
• Twitter Bootstrap
• Jquery UI

Any guidance on how work with a proper framework for developing reponsive web/mobile applications will be really appreciated.

Hi Magylan,

Thanks for your response. i should have been more clear in my query.

I am looking to build web apps and which runs on mobile as well on Salesforce1 platform.

But i need to customise the frontend UI(i.e. Visual FOrce  Pages) to make it more nice and friendly/interactive.

Backend code will still reside on Salesforce.

There is potentially the need to use Heroku as Frontend as well - i am not sure.

I am looking for an architecture of framework model that will work and will not be complex for making chanegs in the future - flexible.
