Job Description:
 
We're looking for a Salesforce Administrator who gets the big picture. How will one implementation influence the rest of the company using Salesforce? You know because you've got the experience to back it up.
 
We're looking for someone to set up of a brand new instance with some custom workflows and views;  data import; plus integration with about 5-10 appexchange apps (duplication prevention, email and mobile integration, social network monitoring/posting tools, relateIQ type sales intelligence).   30- 40 hours per week for four to six weeks.
 
After set up we will require ongoing admin support at about 10-20 hours per month going forward.
 
We're also looking for someone to administer Salesforce. You'll essentially serve as the Salesforce go-to-guy/gal. You will be THE subject matter expert for all things pertaining to Salesforce. You'll probably have at least one year of experience working as a Salesforce Administrator, and have experience designing, configuring, and customizing Salesforce.
 
 
Lastly, we're looking for a team player to support all the teams utilizing Salesforce. You will work cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, Implementation, or Customer Support Teams as well as executives for revenue reporting.
 
 
What you'll do:
 
Set up new instance and train users in best practices.
 
Integrate app exchange and other apps necessary to have a fully functioning instance – duplication control, email and mobile integration, sales intelligence tools, Chatter, etc.
 
Create and manage reporting and metrics. Creating dashboards for various teams shouldn't be a problem for you, either.
 
Work with and support standard Salesforce.com objects like Accounts, Contacts, Leads and Opportunities as well as custom objects.
 
Ability to conduct “clean” mass updates or mass changes as necessary (such as Account owner change overs, etc.)   Ability to think through updates and audit results to ensure accuracy.  Ability to solve data problems creatively and accurately.
 
Familiarity with building, customizing, and exporting Salesforce.com Reports and Dashboards
 
Develop and enforce sales team processes to ensure timely and accurate data capture and management in Salesforce.com
 
Customize all aspects of SFDC operations (including improvements) to meet business needs
 
Customize and managed all aspects of the Salesforce.com user interface
 
Customize fields and page layouts for all objects (specifically to reflect cultural differences  between North America and Europe)
 
Define and collect metrics and key performance indicators that align with the goals of the business
 
Develop basic workflow and triggers.
 
Be extremely proficient with Microsoft Excel for data manipulation.
 
Evaluate new tools as they become available on the force.com platform - remember, we expect that you are the Salesforce expert.
 
Prepare and configure functional prototypes.
 
 
Qualifications:
 
 
What you know:
 
2 - 4 years of experience with Salesforce.com setup and configuration
Experience with administering a Salesforce instance used in both North America and Europe (Asia too is a plus)
 
Knowledge of sales and marketing processes; in-depth knowledge of CRM strategy and systems.
 
Experience implementing an instance for maximum adoption.   You will know what to recommend in order to incent everyone to use the system including best practices in use of Chatter for enterprise communications.
 
Proven experience building components of a Salesforce system to support core business processes.
 
Previous experience with various business verticals, ie sales, operations, marketing, etc.
 
High sense of urgency and goal orientation (thrives in fast paced sales environment). Flexible in the face of changing priorities.
 
Excellent analytical, process design and problem solving skills, combined with strong business judgment and demonstrated project management experience.
 
Self-motivated with strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills
 
Advanced Word, Excel skills.
