I was completed 401 certification recently . i planning to write platform 2 how can i write this exam what is the procudure for this exam plz give me some ideas.

If you have completed Developer I then you can go for Developer II ,If you have completed Dev-401 then go for trasition exam for Developer I.Then register for Developer II .

So, even if we complete DEV-401, should we take Developer-II ?
How to take that transition exam and how to register for Dev-I and Dev-II exams ?? Pls guide me
I think dev-401 developers not possible to register for platform-1 transition exam .App builder is possible .let me know is it correct r not.

Step 1: Certified Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201)
Step 2: Certified Salesforce Developer (DEV 401)
Step 3: Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM 301)
Step 4: Certified Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant (CON 201)
Step 5: Certified Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
Certification structure is changed now for developer .
So If you have Dev 401 Certified you need to give transition for Developer one you need to resister for that and it is non protected .After completing that you wil be Developer I certified and you can resister for Developer II.

I dont hold any certifications as of now. To start off, what should I do ? Ishould take a Developer-I or Dev-401 ??
Dev-401 and Dev-501 certification is upgraded now .So if you are new you need to go for Developer I ,because now Dev-401 and Dev 501 is not available .
If some one has completed Dev 401 then for next Developer II Or App builder they need to give the transition exam which is free and then Dev 401 will be upgraded to Developer I .
If any one has completed Dev 501 multiple choise they have two options which is mentioned the the above link .
Either they can go for programming and Eassy ,then to upgrade they need to give transition .
Or they can upgrade Developer i From Dev 401 and give trasition for Dev 501 and then Programming only .
I think it will clear all doubt .
