How to make a field update of cross objects by using two picklists?

For Example In account object rating is a picklist field and also in Opportunity object, stage Field is a Picklist field
i want to make a field update of rating field with stage field. please reply with suitable answer

You can create workflow rule on opportunity with field update as action and update the account rating field with opportunity staging value.

create a process builder on Opportunity that has this criteria

Stage = Closed 

Record Update related Account
Rating = Hot 

something like that.
