Reporting on Batch Jobs

Hi,

I need to create a report on Daily Batch Runs and send to a user group on daily basis. Salesforce currently doesn't allow reporting on Batch Jobs, is it possible to create a report and automate the same?

If Salesforce doesn't allow reporting on this, then I think you'll need to capture metrics into a custom object and report on that, analytic snapshot style.  This means that all of your batch jobs would need to create a new custom object instance each time they run and capture the information that you are interested in.

How do i create an automatic task on every report run that is scheduled every day of the week.
