Can you please help me out and tell whether we can assign different page layouts to different standard or custom objects?

Hi Amita Tatar,

Yes, We can assign different page layouts to different standard or custom objects using Record Types.

 Step 1 :First we need to create required page layouts for standard / Custom Objects.

Step 2 : Assign pageoayout to record type to display layout to page.
