Rename custom domain name

I want to rename my custom domain name now it has been deployed.

Hi Mark,

You cannot change the domain name after you have deployed it. If have special change request contact Salesforce customer support.

Thank you for your rapid reply, I had previously found that very clear and useful help article and I tried to contact Salesforce customer support, and that is kind of how I ended up in developer.salesforce.com. When I go to create a case for Development/Authentication I am directed here by clicking this text below.
