API for Sales Navigator (LinkedIn)

My company has Saleforce Proffessional and I am told that I can sync my Sales Navigator with Salesforce so that SF pushes accounts into Sales Navigator. 

LinkedIn have the API already but i need one from Salesforce. This is critical to us as a business with the way we use SF and LinkedIn togehter.

Can someone please advise the best way to get this.

You want an API that you can call into to work with data in Salesforce? There are a whole range of Salesforce Platform APIs (https://developer.salesforce.com/page/Salesforce_APIs) that you can use for various purposes and with different protocols.

Or are you looking for a way to process the LinkedIn API from Salesforce?

I have question , once we integrate sales navigator and CRM sync from Linkedin will i be able to reply to linkedin messages directly from my sales force crm
