Workflow rule expired date

Hi,

is there any expire date for workflow rule?

I have created workflow rule like this.

send an email before 90days of renewal date and i created this workflow in 2013 and renewal date is coming in the years as 2016, 2017, 2018 etc.

here renewal date period is 2013 has past and and not fired any time right ?

this is one type of expired ?

Your condition is send an email before 90 days of renewal date.

For example : A record is created the renewal date is 1 Aug 2013, the email will be send on 1 May 2013. Later if you are update the renewal date is 1 Aug 2016 , here again an email will be send on 1 May 2016.
