Create Developer Org
Hello,
I am a Trailhead Newbie. How do I know if I have already created my Developer Org? When I click on Connect To Your Developer Edition it gives me the option to Log In With Developer Edition or Create a New Developer Edition; when I click on Connect To Your Developer Edition it asks me to authorize Salesforce Developer to access my information, basic data, etc; when I click on Create a New Developer Edition, it asks me to enter a Username, but when I use my current log in e-mail, it says it's already being used so not sure if I've created a Developer Org already? I appreciate your help!

Should I create a new Developer Edition for Trailhead?
Yes, we recommend that you start with a fresh Developer Edition (DE) when completing Trailhead challenges since existing org configurations might conflict with changes you make for a challenge. You can use the same DE for all challenges. Create a new DE by signing up here.
NOTE: If you already have a Developer Edition, you will need to choose a new username.

How do I create a second DE org in my trailhead account? I have a DE org in my account. But got an error when I checked one of my challenges. I was advised to use a new DE org in checking the challenges. How do I create a second DE in my trailhead account as the existing one is already not new? Thanks for your help.
When I started with Salesforce I created a developer account to use trailhead. Then suddenly my developer account expired after 90 days... turns out it was a trial.
From Trailhead you can created playground or hands-on orgs. Is this the same as a developer org??
I'm trying to create a developer edition account now, but it's telling me my e-mail address is in use.
The terminology is confusing, and none of the above answers have managed to clear it up for me.
Hi Chelsea ,
first make account on trailhead and then after that fill all the user name and password to make a developer org.
after that you can start working on salesforce org.
If you find your Solution then mark this as the best answer.
Thank you!
