Difference between analytics snapshot and scheduling report runs?

I want to know the diffence between analytics snapshot and scheduling report runs.

Hi Prateek,

An analytics snapshot lets you report on historical data, while scheduling report runs only determine when a certain report should be run (and mailed to the receipient). 

You can use scheduled reports for both current data and historical data (based on the snapshot).
