Reset password email takes user to wrong URL

URL in reset password email takes User to inactive community (members) rather than the new active community (dsptool) - I even created an email template with the new active URL and when I tested it that too took me to the old member URL - HELP!!!!!

Are you using the current merge field for community? Specifically, Community_Url?

Thanks,
Matt

I don't think so - I set up a new URL for the new partner community - https://interagencycouncil.force.com/dsptool - and when I click on it in the ALL COMMUNITY Screen it takes me to the site.  Yet, when I click on it within an email it takes me to the old, now inactive community - https://interagencycouncil.force.com/members.  The same thing happens when I try to log into community through an user.  If I use the Community_URL would that help? I so, how do I access it?

just use {!Community_URL} as a merge field in your email template. No need to hardcode the url

It was set up with the {!Community_URL} as a merge field but it seems to be pulling the old members community rather than the new one.

Hey Matthew - did you forget me?  I restored the original email along with the {!Community_URL} merge field and now it sends no link at all.  I am at a loss as to how to proceed.  This project is way overdue and we are looking the possibility of financial losses.  HELP!

It is set to Community_Url – that was auto-set by Salesforce when I activated Communities a few years ago. The problem is it keeps referencing that original Community’s URL even though it was deactivated.
