Replicate the address fields on a custom object
I want to have a custom object display address like the standard functionality on leads, contacts and accounts when you click on the address field. It should also produce the google map. Any way to do this?
Unfortunately there is no custom address field type that you can utilize. You'll have to recreate the Street, City, State, Zip, and Country fields on your custom object. Please vote for the following idea: https://success.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=08730000000BrVWAA0
ForceBeWithYouSorry to bring back a new thread, but I figured I would ask here rather than creating a new thread. Is there a way to 'tie together' multiple text fields to 'create' an address? Reason being, if I have 123 Main Street, New York and 123 Main Street, Orlando, I cannot select "Do not allow duplicate values" since the properties are in two different cities. However, I don't want duplicate properties (In the same city, obviously). Thanks in advance!
