Hi Swee,

It seems that the error is coming as you are using namespace in your Org.
Users having developer org with enabled namespace face see lots or ruby on rails error.

I would recommend you to take the challenges on a new Dev Org with No Namespace.

Warm Regards,
Sourav.

Hi Sourav,

I did a step by step debug from scratch,
Every step when I missed something,
the error display the coresponding issue I had with the challenge.

After I finish the last step,
"Post a snapshot of the 'Opptys by Type' dashboard component to Dashboard Chatter feed",
the error above displayed.

I doubt it is more likely a Trailhead Challenge Validation issue...

Swee

Hi Sourav,

I took the challenge on another account,
and it was successful.

Thank you for the assist.

Still, I find this issue very weird.
I hope the Trailhead guys will solve this issue to prevent future users to fall into same case as I did.

Anyways,
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays =)

Swee

You need to Enable Feed Tracking is for Dashboards.
Set Up> Chatter> Feed Tracking> Dashboard

I can't seem to get this to work no matter what I do. Feed tracking and snapshots enabled.Screenshot of Dashboard and Chatter FeedTrailhead error code

Nevermind. You HAVE to be in Salesforce Classic to complete it.

Hi, Ian. I'm in Salesforce Classic and I'm still getting that same message. Feed tracking is also turned on. My report and dashboard are properly named too. Can anyone help?

I too have that problem:

I am in Salesforce Classic not turned on the Lightning Report Builder (beta), have feed tracking enabled for Dashboards and Reports with all fields selected and the "Enable Dashboard Component Snapshots" checked.

I have followed the dashboard, and posted the snapshot to chatter.

So I think everything is correct, but I'm still getting the error.  Does anyone have any recommendations?  Thanks.

I am getting the same error - everything is posted to Chatter.  How do I complete the challenge? Help!
Renato DominiRenato Domini
not sure if this of any help, but I restarted (deleted reports, dashboard) the whole challenge using "Classic" version only and it worked. Initially, I was using the Lightening Experience
Glenn Smith 22Glenn Smith 22
Karen - I was using Classic to start with, but did what some others commented above and configured a new Trailhead environment - followed through this challenge in the new environment and worked fine.  Have since switched back to my first one and further challenges all good in there.
Renato DominiRenato Domini
Glenn, do you have to restart your challenges (after reconfiguration) or does it keep the same points and badges?
Glenn Smith 22Glenn Smith 22
Hi Renato - I restarted (and successfully completed) just that single challenge in the new Trailhead playground (setup #2 with the same login account) and then went back to my first one for all further challenges - all points and badges remained with my account.

You definitely have to do this one in Classic.
