Compact Layout Assignment on Salesforce1

I created a compact layout for cases and changed the assignment but it wont update on Salesforce1.

Check whether the compact layout is assigned to your profile by clicking the "Compact Layout Assignment" and check you modified the correct compact layout

Click Compact Layout assignment button and see which layout is assigned to the user profile and then make the changes accordingly

Hi I have reached the same point as David Walker 24 - I have created the right Contract profile and its primary, yet the test is saying 
Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong: 
Either the contact object does not have a compact layout named 'Phone and Email', or it is not set as the primary compact layout

Not sure where to go from here!

I received this same error and took Narendra's advice as I was certain I completed this correctly. Worked like a charm! After looking into it, this seems to be a fairly common problem, especially if you're working on the Wave Analytics Trailheads.
