Salesforce For Outlook - Contact Sync

Hi Folks,

I would like to sync CONTACTS FROM OUTLOOK TO SALESFORCE (Not vice versa).
But In Configuration settings, I have only the following options,
1. Dont Sync
2. Salesforce to Outlook
3. Sync both ways

Requirement is to sync CONTACTS FROM OUTLOOK TO SALESFORCE.
How can we achieve this?

And one more doubt is, what is the time Frequency of the sync job?

You can't sync the contacts from the Outlook to salesforce only. If you want to move contacts from outlook to salesforce then the only option is you have to enable Sync both ways through plugin.

Time-frequency for the auto sync 
  • Events and Tasks sync automatically every 10 minutes
  • Contacts sync automatically every hour
User also manually sync by selecting the Sync now option from the salesforce for outlook icon in the system

Yeah, even I choosed "Sync Both Ways". But I am trying to find is there anyway to stop the sync "SALESFORCE to OUTLOOK" and nly allowing the "OUTLOOK to SALESFORCE" by any means of customization.
