Why doesn't Trailhead see the achievements in my developer account?

I'm spending a snow day with Trailhead and have encountered a glitch.  I just completed the Creating Custom Objects section and did the challenge and Trailhead cannot find the wonderful custom objects that I created to give me my 500 points for meeting the challenge.  It says

Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
All the expected custom fields for the Trail__c object could not be found.

I have my developer account open and there those lovely custom objects are, shining bright.  Any ideas about helping Trailhead see my wonderful work?

I am sure that you have an object with Trail__C.

If you have an error number, post that.
You can also email about the issue to trailhead@salesforce.com

Make sure that you connected the right salesforce account in the trailhead. Click the "Launch Developer Edition" and verify you have all the changes in it, sometimes you may be done all changes in the different salesforce developer account and try to verify the challenge with the some other developer org account.Which trailhead module you are facing this issue? Can you share the screenshot here

I opened the Developer from within the Trailhead tutorial and it worked. Worth a try. Merrily
