Is there a limit to the number of processes I can build (using the Process Builder)?

I was trying to activate a new process (using the process builder), but it kept failing - even though it worked in the sandbox. When I de-activated another process, I was able to successfully activate the original process in question.

Which leads me to my question ... Is there a limit to the number of active processes I can have in the Process Builder?

Hi Jake

Short answer: yes. Processes share limits with rules (workflow, assignment, etc.) and flows. You can only have 50 active processes/flows/rules on a single object, 1000 flows/processes in total and 500 active flows/processes. There are more limitations to be found here:
